顏聖紘是臺灣昆蟲學家，現為國立中山大學生物科學系副教授。
台灣爭取婚姻平權的過程中，嚴聖紘副教授不僅積極參與各項倡議活動，透過媒體投書、文章專刊及教育宣導等方式，從演化生物學角度提出科學論證，反擊反同人士錯誤引用的謬論與謠言，為當時法律、人權觀點外的重要論述。
此外，在2018年反同公投期間，亦擔任「學術工作者力挺婚姻平權與完整性平教育聯合聲明」連署發起人、新聞聯絡人，號召學術工作者共同支持性別平等教育及婚姻平權法案，是同志運動的重要人物之一。
Profile
Yen Sheng-hong is a Taiwanese entomologist. He currently serves as an associate professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at National Sun Yat-sen University.
During Taiwan’s movement for marriage equality, Associate Professor Yen actively participated in advocacy efforts. Through opinion pieces in the media, featured essays, and public education initiatives, he offered scientific arguments grounded in evolutionary biology, countering the misinterpretations and misinformation circulated by anti-LGBTQ groups. His contributions provided an important perspective that complemented legal and human rights–based arguments at the time.
In addition, during the 2018 anti-LGBT referendums, he served as a co-initiator and press contact for the joint statement titled “Academic Workers Supporting Marriage Equality and Comprehensive Gender Equity Education.” He called upon fellow scholars to stand in support of gender equity education and marriage equality legislation, becoming one of the significant figures in Taiwan’s LGBTQ movement.

顏聖紘（イェン・シェンホン）は台湾の昆虫学者であり。現在、国立中山大学生物科学系の准教授を務めている。
台湾の婚姻平等運動の過程において、顔准教授は各種アドボカシー活動に積極的に関わった。メディアへの寄稿、論説、教育啓発などを通じて、進化生物学の観点から科学的論証を提示し、反対派による誤った主張やデマに対して真っ向から反論した。これは当時、法律や人権の議論に加わる重要な論理的支柱を築いた。
さらに2018年の国民投票にて同性婚と性教育に対する反対意見が発議された際には、「学術関係者による婚姻平等とおよび包括的なジェンダー平等教育支持共同表明」の署名の発起人および広報担当を務めた。多くの学識者に連帯を呼びかけ、ジェンダー平等教育と婚姻平等法案への支持を表明した、台湾のLGBTQ+運動における重要人物の1人である。
